Q: Do you use a contract?
Yes. The contract is provided to both parties. Where the event is, when it is, time of arrival, what is being offered at what price, the deposit, etc are all covered at length in the contract.
Q: What is your starting price?
The starting price for a wedding reception package of 4 hours is $1600 during non-peak season. Respectfully, please do not contact us if your budget does not allow for this.
Q: Are you booking weddings during COVID-19 and do you practice safety at them?
Absolutely. We can wear masks throughout the entire wedding if you would like and recommend that guests do the same.
Q: How do you dress for events?
For weddings, you can expect us in all black dress slacks and shirt, or white button down shirt w/ black vest. Occasionally a suit, especially if it's not a summer wedding!
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
We don't believe in cutting corners and using second-rate equipment so all the sound equipment is top of the line in the industry. You can truly hear a difference between the sound system we use and that of many other DJ's. Just ask Joey and he is happy to send you product brands/names.
Q: Do you allow clients to customize the music selection?
Definitely. This is your special day, not ours! We provide complete flexibility and we want to provide that value to you! With every event consultation, the DJ will discuss your preferences of music, what must be played, and what should not be played.
Q: Will you make announcements?
Yes. The DJ will make all announcements with a high-quality wireless microphone.
Q: How long have you been DJing?
We've all been DJing professionally for about 8 years.
Q: Do you require a retainer/deposit?
Yes. It is required to lock in the event date. A lack of a retainer means your date can be taken by another event.
Q: How far do you travel?
We are based in the Atlanta, GA area and will travel within a reasonable distance free of travel charges.
Q: Do you provide services for wedding ceremonies?
Yes. If you need ceremony entertainment, the DJ will provide high quality sound and DJ the music for your ceremony and time it perfectly with entrances. We will also mic up the officiant so all of your guests can hear the ceremony clearly. Lastly, OnCue Events can provide sound for a singer that requires a microphone during ceremony and/or reception. Just let us know the details.
Q: What forms of payment do you take?
Currently, we accept cash, Venmo, or Paypal.
